I was in the market for a tonneau cover for my truck, and with the sports bar installed, my choices were somewhat limited. Although GM offers a compatible option, I decided to go with the Truxedo cover, which not only suited my needs but also saved me $50. I'm pleased to confirm that it seamlessly integrates with the sports bar. The installation process had its challenges, especially fitting the weather stripping behind the sports bar inner support, but without the sports bar, it would have been a breeze, taking only around 30 minutes. Following the instructions meticulously was key, despite them being a bit disjointed and the illustrations not being the clearest. However, sticking to them ensured a smooth installation process. Once installed, I was impressed by how snugly the cover fits and how securely the Velcro keeps it in place, even during high-speed drives. Rolling it open is a cinch, adding to the convenience. While it's true that this cover isn't the sturdiest, essentially being a tarp with a few support bars, it still provides ample protection from the elements. Just be mindful not to place heavy objects on top of it. Overall, it perfectly serves its purpose of safeguarding the bed and its contents, meeting my requirements admirably.
