I was eager to find a tonneau cover for my truck, but the challenge of fitting one with the sports bar narrowed down my options. While GM offers a solution, I opted for the Truxedo cover, which not only saved me $50 but also exceeded my expectations. I'm delighted to confirm its seamless compatibility with the sports bar. Although the installation presented a minor hurdle, particularly in maneuvering the weather stripping behind the sports bar inner support, it was a manageable task. Had I not had the sports bar, the installation would have been a breeze, likely taking only 30 minutes. I can't stress enough the importance of carefully following the instructions, despite their slight disjointedness and the sometimes unclear images. However, adhering to them diligently ensures a smooth process. Once installed, the cover fits snugly, and the Velcro keeps it securely in place even at high speeds, making it a joy to roll open. While it's true that the cover isn't the sturdiest, consisting essentially of a tarp with a few support bars, it fulfills its purpose admirably. It provides reliable protection against the elements, safeguarding the bed and its contents without fail. For me, it's a resounding success.
